Before troubleshooting, please make sure:
You are connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or a mobile data network
You are using Mac OS 10.11 or later
A 3rd party app is not interfering with Internet Settings such as antivirus, firewall, etc.
- If so please disable that 3rd party software
On your Mac computer:
First, please change DNS to Google DNS:
You'll need to first head into the System Settings.
Click on the Network icon.
Your Network should be located right under Wi-Fi.
Click on Details.
Click on DNS.
You can start adding DNS entries to the list. If you see entries that are greyed out, just ignore them, and click the + (plus) symbol at the bottom like the one shown in the picture to add new ones.
Add the following two items to the list and try to connect: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Then go to System Settings, and once you are there: 1\. Click on Network.
2\. Select VPN & Filters. 3\. Click on the "i" icon next to Betternet VPN.
4\. Click on Remove Configuration.
